I beat Silent Hill 2 last night! I got the “Leave” ending, too.
This game was so fun, I’m probably going to play through again soon.

I know I bitched a lot about the problems that I was having with the Silent Hill HD Collection, but last night I gave it another try. I was really surprised that my game didn’t lag at all! The controls still seemed a little stiff, but I was surrounded by creatures, and my game didn’t slow down at all! I even beat the mall level!

I really want the patches for the Silent Hill HD collection to be released soon. When I was trying to play SH3, once I started exploring the mall, my game went to hell. For some reason, the controls became so laggy, that I was just slowing running in a circle for a few minutes before I ragequit. I might try again today, but it totally takes away from the game when I can’t even walk down a damn hallway.

I am having so much fun playing Silent Hill Downpour. The atmosphere is so creepy, and the storyline is really intriguing.
I also bought the Silent Hill HD collection, but I had a difficult time playing SH3. Like everyone else, I found it to be really laggy, and I had some control issues. So I’m just going to wait until the patches are released before I get into the HD collection.
